Are you soon to ETS, separate or retire from the military soon? In today's employment market it can be quite a task of preparing yourself to enter the civilian job market. Here at "From War to Work" we have designed our programs to give you optimum advantage when you are seeking civilian employment.

Hello, my name is Sergeant First Class, retired, Terry Danner. I served in the United States Army for almost 22 years, retiring in 2010. I have assisted many of my soldiers in guiding them from being a great soldier to a great asset in the civilian job force.

Please don't take the transition phase of your career lightly because it may cause you to fall behind your competition, as well as fall behind in your income expectations. The military does offer ACAP to transitioning soldiers; however, it is tailored to a broad audience, not to individuals as I offer here. My program is designed to help you create a great resume for you, search through thousands of job postings and then to submit your resume to as many as 25 per month employers.

With your yearly membership of $75, you will receive a tailored resume, detailed employment searches, 25 resume submissions per month, tips and advice to guide you through your transition phase, interactive webinars, member networking, demographics search, and a trip planning service. We even have a Business Development service for those seeking to become entrepreneurs. I am here; ready to be of assistance to you through knowledge, wisdom and understanding. I look forward to serving you, same as I have always enjoyed serving soldiers.

The Navy Expeditionary Medal was authorized on August 5, 1936. The medal is awarded to members of the Navy who have engaged in operations against armed opposition in foreign territory or have served in situations warranting special recognition where no other campaign medal was awarded. Many operations have qualified for the award, beginning (retroactively) with operations by Navy and Marine Corps personnel in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1874 and culminating in the operations involving the attack on the USS Cole between 2000 and 2002.

For more information on the Navy Expeditionary Medal visit http://www.medalsofamerica.com/Item--i-F040_Full_Size_List

Our son, recently home from Afghanistan, surprises his sister during the graduation ceremony at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She was extremely disappointed when we told her he would not be back until the end of the month. Guess we lied a little. Ok, a lot. A special thanks to all at Cal Poly who made this possible. Enjoy.
