4 Slices good quality bacon

1 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 tsp teaspoon garlic powder

4 slices sourdough bread

1/2 cup shredded provolone

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

4 Slices crispy fried bacon

Fry 4 slices of good quality bacon, pat dry and set aside until needed.

Microwave or heat oil, butter and garlic powder in small pan. Heat until butter just melts. Set aside. Heat a non-stick griddle or large pan over medium heat. Place 2-4 slices of the sourdough bread on surface to heat up. Turn bread over and place equal amounts of the cheeses and 2 pieces of bacon on each and brush with olive oil, butter and garlic mixture.Top with second slice of bread. Butter both sides and grill until cheese is melted and sandwich is golden brown.

You are so very welcome and it was very thoughtful of you to let me know you enjoyed it.  Thank you.  Here's our favorite Cherry Cream Cheese recipe, as it is a hit everywhere it goes, but you must let it chill for atleast several hours until it is firm to cut. Here it is:

This pie is delicious and pretty to serve, our favorite!

1/2 cup sugar
8 oz. container of cool whip
8 oz. Philly cream cheese
1 can pie filling cherry flavor (I use Food Lion brand cherry pie filling because the more expensive brand is too sweet. The tartness of the cherries in the Food Lion brand is perfect with the cream cheese.) You could substitute the cherry for strawberry pie filling, but I love the cherry.
1 graham cracker crust

Mix sugar, cream cheese and cool whip together and beat until very blended. I usually beat it for several minutes, do not rush. Pour into pie filling and then add your favorite pie filling on top. Put lid of pie crust over it and chill. Best served after several hours of being in fridge or next day.
