Today Friday October 19 is my first aniversary and I get to spend it alone and not even recieve a phone call from my husband because he is on mission. I am a bit upset but not entirly. I understand he has a duty and that duty has to come first. My husband and I have been together 8 years now its just one year offically married. So it's not that big of a deal but at times like this I realize that I am the wife of a soldier. The military makes the soldiers strong through training and missions the wife becomes strong through experince. I belive that this makes us (military families) the strongest families on the planet. I think we appreciate the little things in life more than most. And for all this I am thankful! I just wanted to express a few of my feelings on this day I am spending alone!!
