Different?

What seperates us from the rest of the 3 billion people on this planet? We're Americans. We bleed the blood of a thousand battles. We shed the tears of a thousand losses. We celebrate the joy of a million victories. We raise our fists, bloodied and scared in the face of any advisary. Our faces are mired in the mud of foriegn lands that we have never seen. Our hearts ache for people we have never met. We give of ourselves not because we're forced, but because it's the right thing to do. We share our good fortune with those less fortunate. We sacrifice our freedom so that others may taste the sweet flavor of everything that freedom has to offer. We strive to improve ourselves not for our own personal gain but for the betterment of our community, our family, our country. We are strong. We are independant. We are selfless. We give more than any nation in the history of the world. We give our money, our science, our children. We liberate countries and free the oppressed. We build schools and hospitals and homes. We give hope to the hopeless and instill fear in the fearless. We stand in the face of tyranny and dare the tyrant. We fight amongst ourselves but form an impentratable bond when our way of life is at stake. We strengthen the weak and feed the hungry. We are Americans by God and by God we are ordained. We are the strong backs and broad shoulders on which the rest of the world leans. Our muscles ache from the weight but still we drive on. The steeley eyed determination and unwaivering dedication to what is right, that's America. We are. We will. We must. Be proud of what we are, we earned it. Semper Fi.......
