Hello One and All.
I recently had a conversation about this subject. It just so happens that I had blogged about this very thing sometime ago on another blog site (long before I knew about Milplace so cut me some slack
). So I thought I would repost it here:
I have discovered that intelligence is wasted on the youth. When I was in my teens and twenties I seemed to have the answer for everything. I knew it all and I just couldn't believe that no one would listen to me. My parents didn't, no one in my family didn't, even some of my friends didn't. BUT I HAD ALL THE ANSWERS! I should have been President or maybe dictator and gotten rid of the President all together. I thought I knew it all. So let me ask you, where did all that intelligence go??? I have lost it somewhere down the line. I had it, I know I did. Or did I really??
Ok, I really didn't but I sure as h*** thought I did. I have come to realize that as I get older the more I really don't know. Despite what I have thought in my youth.
