Well, mom called today from the MEPS office and my brother has been sworn in to the Marines and is on his way to Parris Island. Its exciting!! We should be expecting a call really late tonight from him with is info and to tell us that he got there safely. If anyone would love to drop a line to him just email me it and I will include it in my letters to him. I would rather not give out his address on here. I am sure that he would love to hear words of encouragement. I told him before he left yesterday that "YOU CAN DO THIS, THIS IS THE HARD PART, GET THROUGH THIS AND YOU WILL BE ALRIGHT." Big sis sending ((LOVES)) to Lil Bro!!

Well I just had the last visit with my brother before he leaves for basic. It was great. We spent alot of time together, more then usual. Mom was suprised that we did spend this time together. See when we were growing up we were always at each other throats. Now there is love there somewhere. We got some nice pics together.
I don't really know how to explain how I feel. I am happy for him as you can tell but sad at the same time because he is leaving for a long time. I do have to say I got teary alittle. Just alittle, i promise!!
We got to talk about things and he is scared. I can understand that. You can tell that he is stressed about it. I told him that he can do it and that this is the hard part. Get through this and you are good to go.
Be praying for him!! He leaves on June 5th.

My brother is leaving on May 29th for the Marines. I am so very proud of him for making this decision. Please send your support & prayers for him and all the brave men and women of the armed forces. I know he is not a Marine till he graduates from basic. But I have confidence that he will.

Now he is not leaving until June 5th. Hopefully this one will stick. I think it will. He gets his contract finalized that day also.
