Well alot has been happening here so Here is to clue ya in on some details. Enjoy!!
Bootcamp for my brother is now done, and now here comes the fun times. HA!! He is now all healed up from is "trench foot" from the crucible and staff infections from the iv's. So you can say our trip went a lil different then expected but we made it worth while. We came home a day late, but that is okay. He could not participate in the Motovational Run and was going to march at graduation but between the meds and nerves he got sick and had to sit it out. But atleast he still got to experience the graduation. On Wednesday when we found out he could not run on the Motovational Run we brought our support posters into the hospital and put them in his room. We made it great for him. On graduation day we were all on base and he got to take us around to all the different things there and do what we were suppose to do on Family Day. We met some of his buddies. Its was pretty cool!! He is glad this part is over. But...... What is on his agenda is or should I say the military's agenda for him. IS..... He is on leave for 10days right now then he leaves to go back to Parris Island to a BMP(Basic Marine Platoon) till they can make sure he is 100% the he wil be shipped to Camp Lejuene for MCT(more training in the field) for 22days. Then he wil graduate from that the he will be shipped to his school for training for his job. HERE IS THE BAD PART KINDA!! After school they told him either Japan or Iraq. So we will see what happens. His job is construction.
Everyone was right to a point about him coming back a changed person. We could tell right when we first saw him the first time. He has changed some,, He has grown up some that is for sure. But he is still my lil brother and we still pick on each other all the time.
Thank You everyone for all of your support and prayers that he will make and he did. Now here comes something else to pray for. I am thinking about joining the Air Force if I can't get on my feet here. I am still weighing the pro's and cons for it and discussing it. I gotta make sure I make the right decision for me and my kids. So I got a lot of thinking to do. As You should already know by now that I am not with my husband anymore, thats why I dropped out of sight for a bit. I have a rough road ahead of me right now. But I got to take one step at a time and soon enough I will get there. SO keep your prayers up for me and us here in Florida.
Thanks So much!!
~FG~
